If you are worried about keeping up your mortgage payments, speak to your lender as early as you can. Lenders are required to treat customers in financial difficulty fairly and there are often options available, such as a temporary change to your payments or an extension to your term. Contacting them early generally gives you more room to work with than waiting until payments have been missed.
You are also welcome to talk to us. We cannot give debt advice, but we can talk through your mortgage and protection arrangements with you and point you towards the right help.
